These rules govern how certified persons may refer to their ERCA certification and use the ERCA mark.
1. Who may use it
Only individuals holding a valid ERCA certificate, and only for the scope and period stated on the certificate.
2. Permitted use
- Stating that you are ERCA-certified, with your certificate number and scope.
- Displaying the ERCA mark on personal professional documents (CV, business card, e-mail signature) within your certified scope.
3. Not permitted
- Using the certificate or mark after it has expired, been suspended or withdrawn.
- Implying certification of an organisation (the certificate certifies a person, not a company).
- Altering the mark or using it in a misleading way.
4. On suspension or withdrawal
You must immediately stop all use of the certificate and mark and, if asked, confirm in writing that you have done so.
Misuse of the certificate or mark may lead to suspension or withdrawal of certification and, where necessary, legal action to protect the integrity of the register.
